There is nothing sweeter than a rainy day. What better than a cool, rainy day to stay inside and enjoy a fantastic book? (I'm currently reading one called The Tea Rose - a fantastic novel in my estimation.) Today is exactly one of those days - a misty, rain filled day that I absolutely love.
But why should YOU, as a fellow happy slob love rainy days? :) You guessed it my lovelies...because the dirt doesn't show up as clearly on cloudy or rainy days! Think I'm kidding? No way...the glaring sunshine generally shows us our most blatant housecleaning mishaps and ignorances. Not so on a so-called 'gloomy' day. Lovely! We get to sit inside and eat a bit of chocolate and read a great book, plus our surroundings look better than ever.
